In development — pilot programme open

Welcoming your visitors, from the first email to check-out.

Arc Seuil checks visitors in on an iPad kiosk, notifies their host, manages badges and keeps the emergency list up to date. For a single company, a group, or a building shared by several tenants.

Why Arc Seuil

A smoother, safer reception — and data that stays yours.

Designed for check-in in under a minute

Expected visitors scan the QR code they received by email: four screens at most, with the house rules signed in advance if they wish. The host is notified the moment their visitor arrives.

Know who is in the building

Reception sees who is on site in real time. In an evacuation, the emergency list opens in one click and roll call is done on a smartphone, from several assembly points.

Your data under your control

Install Arc Seuil on your own servers, or use our Cloud hosted in Switzerland. Encrypted personal data, retention periods set by you, automatic deletion.

The visitor journey

Before, during and after the visit: every step has its place.

Host, reception, security and visitor share the same information — each according to their permissions.

  1. 1

    Before the visit

    • The host or reception pre-registers the visit: date, time, site, visitor type.
    • The visitor receives an invitation: arrival QR code, .ics appointment, directions and parking map.
    • They can sign the house rules in advance through a secure link.
    • Recurring visits, groups imported from CSV, safety checklist for contractors.
  2. 2

    On arrival

    • The iPad kiosk greets visitors in the colours of the company they visit, in English, French or German.
    • Scan the QR code or search by name: only today's expected visitors are offered, with names partly hidden.
    • House rules signed with a finger, unless a valid signature already exists.
    • The host receives an email; a temporary access badge can be issued.
  3. 3

    During the visit

    • Log for every company on the site: expected, arrived, left, cancelled, no-show.
    • "Who is on site" view updated within seconds, exportable as PDF and CSV.
    • One-click evacuation, roll call on a smartphone, separate drill mode.
    • Watchlist: a discreet alert to security, nothing shown to the visitor.
  4. 4

    After the visit

    • Check-out at the kiosk using the label's QR code, without seeing other visitors.
    • The access badge is deactivated at check-out or at the scheduled end time.
    • Statistics: visits by period, company and host; signature and pre-registration rates.
    • Automatic, logged deletion according to your retention periods.
The kiosk

An iPad, a stand, and that's it.

The kiosk is a web page installed full screen on the iPad and locked with Guided Access. No app to publish or update on the App Store.

  • Sealed off. The kiosk only reaches its own site, through a revocable device token. No link to the admin area, no visitor list.
  • Wiped after every visitor. Back to the welcome screen with all input cleared after 60 seconds of inactivity; no visitor data stays on the tablet.
  • Branded per company. Logo, colours, background image, welcome texts and house rules in every language.
  • Ready for outages. If the network goes down, the kiosk asks the visitor to go to reception.

Multi-site, multi-company

Several companies behind the same desk.

Companies in a group or tenants in a building share one reception without sharing their data. Each company keeps its own visitors, house rules and colours.

  • Strict isolation. Every query is filtered by company, and a dedicated test suite checks that no data crosses from one to another.
  • Roles per company. The same person can be a receptionist for one company and a regular host for another; roles can be assigned by Active Directory group.
  • Each site configured individually. Time zone, directions, available hosts, kiosks and automatic check-out time.

Security and data protection

Built for the Swiss FADP and the GDPR from the ground up.

A visitor log holds names, signatures and sometimes photos. Arc Seuil treats them as sensitive data.

Encryption at rest

Names, contact details, signatures and documents are encrypted in the database and in file storage.

Tamper-proof audit log

Sign-ins, role changes, exports, watchlist look-ups and deletions are recorded append-only.

Isolated companies

Each company's data is isolated at model level, and that isolation is verified by automated tests.

Sign-in with your directory

Staff sign in with their Active Directory / LDAP account. A local emergency account is protected by two-factor authentication.

Controlled retention

Retention periods per data type and per company, logged daily deletion, export and erasure of a visitor in a single operation.

Hosted in Switzerland, or by you

The Cloud Edition runs on servers in Switzerland. The Community Edition installs on your own infrastructure.

Arc Seuil does not claim any certification at this stage. A penetration test is planned before version 1.0 and before every major version after that.

Integrations

Builds on the systems you already have.

Every integration goes through an adapter: another directory or access control system can be plugged in without touching the core product.

Active Directory / LDAP v1.0

Staff sign-in, host synchronisation, leavers' accounts disabled, roles by group.

Access control Connector planned

First planned connector: dormakaba Exos, to issue and deactivate visitor badges. The interface will be confirmed with the pilot company.

Email v1.0

Internal SMTP or Microsoft 365: invitations, confirmations and arrival notifications, with retries.

Calendar (.ics) v1.0

A calendar invitation attached to every pre-registration.

Intranet v1.0

Publishes announced company visits through a JSON/RSS feed or webhook.

REST API and webhooks v1.x

Documented API (OpenAPI) with per-company tokens, signed webhooks at every stage of a visit.

Microsoft Entra ID (SSO) v1.x

For organisations without an on-site directory, via OIDC or SAML.

Microsoft Teams and Outlook Later

Arrival notification in Teams, visit creation from an Outlook invitation.

Guest Wi-Fi, labels, SMS Under review

Supported hardware and providers will be decided with the first customers.

Who it's for

Different receptions, one common foundation.

Groups of companies

One instance for every company in the group, each with its own rules, roles and data.

Shared buildings

One reception for several tenants: the visitor picks the company they are visiting, and each keeps its own data.

Sites with contractors

Safety checklist and PPE to confirm, documents attached by contractor type, exportable attendance.

Headquarters and client visits

Client groups registered by their lead with the number of attendees, invitations and directions.

Two editions

One product, hosted by you or by us.

Start on your own infrastructure and move to the Cloud later, without changing tools.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us.

Is Arc Seuil available yet?

Not in production yet. The product's foundations are complete and feature development is under way. We are opening a pilot programme for companies that want to validate it in real conditions before release.

How do I join the pilot programme?

Write to us at contact@axionyx.io with your number of sites and companies and your access control system. We will get back to you for an initial conversation.

Do I need to install an app on the iPad?

No. The kiosk is a web page added to the iPad's home screen, running full screen and locked with iPadOS Guided Access. It also works on an Android tablet or a desktop browser.

Where is the data hosted?

With the Community Edition, on your own infrastructure. With the Cloud Edition, on servers in Switzerland operated by AXIONYX.io Sàrl. Either way, personal data is encrypted at rest and you set the retention periods.

Does it work with our access control?

The first planned connector is dormakaba Exos, to issue a temporary badge on arrival and deactivate it at check-out. This connector has not been delivered yet: the interface will be confirmed with the pilot company. Other systems can be connected later through the common adapter.

Can several companies share the same reception?

Yes — it is one of the product's foundations. A site can be shared by several companies: the visitor picks the company they are visiting, and each company's data stays isolated.

What happens if the network goes down?

The kiosk asks the visitor to go to reception. The emergency list takes priority: a copy is regenerated regularly so it stays available at the reception desk, and a paper fallback procedure is provided.

What licence, and how much does it cost?

The Community Edition is open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence and free; its code will be published at public release. The Cloud Edition will be offered as a subscription per site; pricing has not been set yet.

Which languages are supported?

The kiosk and the admin area work in English, French and German. Another language can be added with a simple translation file.

Let's build tomorrow's reception together.

A demo of where we are, and a place in the pilot programme to validate Arc Seuil at your reception.
